A few one of a kind boxes we have for sale at Daphnes and soon on Etsy. They are very heavy and sturdy and I am including some example photo's to show what can be done with them. Most of the applique's are from antique mold's. Each box is made to be slightly worn to give a slight shabby chic look. They can be made in any color and both sides have the wood appliques.
I love putting flowers and/or plant's in my long boxes. Makes a beautiful centerpiece.
You can have one by your bed to keep your book's, magazines, lotions, dead husbands,dead cats, stationary,love letters,booze and what else your heart desires.

You can house your fabrics, and many hobby items in your boxes. My Mother keeps her cook books in her kitchen box and another friend uses her's as a bread box or treats and chips.

A box with note cards and book's. There is a BariJ handbag with a beautiful applique flower on the front, and a Lisa Kaus painting in the back that was sold some time ago.
Kitchen box for bread's, cookies. muffin's, all treat's, olive oil's, and can be used as a centerpiece on the table with a platter on top with a gorgeous HAM, or dinner roll's.. The sky is the limit.
Box used for decorating. I threw some of my X-mas ornaments in to show how they can be used for the holiday's. Again it can be used on a dinner table and house X-mas decorations, Easter decoration's, Halloween, B-day, Thanksgiving and a realy cool idea is to give one of the boxes with a top with a gift inside to a bride, a graduation gift, a keepsake gift.
