Some pictrures of the Halloween art sold or still on sale with us. Most paintings have a chain or nail thread to hang on the wall or even outside.
This cat's name is Lucifer, but he's a friendly Lucifer. We have him in a series, and he has a girlfriend named Cristabelle. Lucifer is from Salem and he is in the vintage style and there is vintage papers, vintage photo's, and vintage journal's on the canvas. The painting has been made to have a rough, lumpy and raised vintage texture. This cat was actually taken from a wooden sign that was over 120 years old!!!
This Halloween owl is my favorite and I hate letting it go. It is so sad that you can't see how cool the texture is on the canvas and how old she made it look. Alot of the painting's have vintage Mica and/or German glass glitter or a hint of black German glass glitter, but it's imposible to see. Also alot of the pieces have raised pieces of wood in different shapes, such as moons, cat's, sheep, ravens, circles, and stars etc. with vintage papers glued on or glitter. Like I said these are half finished and taken with a crudy little camera. This owl piece is very heavy and has a think layer of molding paste as do most of the holiday pieces. The molding paste mixed with wax does the neatest trick I found out one night when I fell asleep with a HEAT GUN on the painting. It bubbles up and makes the neatest surface and realy gives the piece a vintage feel and it makes the sides and edges all rough and gloupy.
Another Lucifer painting, this time with a vintage raised wood clock piece around his neck. He is looking very majestic on his pumpkin throne. The papers and photos are all vintage on the sides of the canvas. Again covered in molding paste and made to look old and spooky with a rough texture.
Another view of King Lucifer...
A real vintage style owl painting.I adore this one and we gave it an extra heavy coating of molding paste an an extra rough vintage surface, How cute would this look on your front door, hung with a chain, or hung on the wall.
Here is three bad boy crows who rule the halloween night and neighborhood. My Mother has 5 crow's called the Beltway Boys who live in her massive yard/pasture because she feed's them human food every day and they rule all the bird's and the whole yard strutting around like King's... Again, vintage paper and heavy molding paste to give it a rough texture for a real vintage spooky look. Hang it on your front door, your mantle, any ole wall, or over your husbands bed and make him think you are starting vodoo on him...
This is one of Lucifer's cousins and he is a country Halloween cat with more charm and manners. I love his face and hat, he realy does look old and crusty.
This one reminds me of the 3 little pigs, but they are Halloween pumpkins with vintage papers.
This next one is just a fun Halloween cat on the way to a party. He is half way finished.
A fabulous owl with raised wood shapes with vintage papers on them. Mica and German glass in the tress. When I take better photos, you will be able to see so much more detail.
This one I love and is so much fun. It has a way to go yet, but it's going to be one of the favorites. Again,, more vintage papers and vintage textures...This one we might hang antique rusted chains from the top.
this next one is a fabulous green pumpkin, He has the most unusual texture on is tummy, on accident. Almost like bubble wart's. His vintage papers and the halloween vintage couple on the sides that look petrafied just makes this piece.
I have so many more to put up, but this is a small example of whats to come and I will save the best for last and when I can put up more perfect pictures.
Here is a small French stuck-up unfinished X-mas Kity,,,
