About Me

Daphne's Cottage is the vision of Elizabeth and her mother, Jane. They are women who have been greatly influenced by their 'old south' background and are the last in a long line of high drama, strong-willed, opinionated women. They love the southern customs and traditions but are constantly seeking out the lastest find, the most striking or whimsical art, the best fashions, and luxury products catering to women. Daphne's Cottage is designed to delight and charm women who want the perfect items to make them feel pampered and treasured.
Women today who who give so much to others and often put themselves last, deserve to feel special, even if they have to do it for themselves. (Elizabeth recommends a 'Sugar Daddy') Elizabeth and Jane spend a great deal of time selecting and researching a variety of top quality and unusual things for the home, bath, boudoir, and beautiful gifts such as; handbags, jewelry, and fashion that we give to ourselves and others.

Jane is an interior decorator and oil painter. She and her husband owned a large decorating firm for over 20 years. They also raised and trained a rare horse breed, the Pervuian-Paso, and successfully showed their horses at a national level.

Elizabeth who inherited her love of over-the-top romantic living from Jane and all their eccentric female relatives, is married to a man known to sleep with one eye open. She has a 16 year old son who is the delight of their family. Elizabeth is a high-maintenance, gold digger, and self-proclaimed beauty queen, an all-around Diva who is on fire for everything Daphne and her plans to bring women around the world a wonderful and enchanting shopping experience. Jane just wants to spread good vibes, good karma, Feng Shui, and spirituality, while trying to control Elizabeth.

As you can see, they have big differences, but share a quirky tongue-in-cheek sense of humor and want to bring out the Diva in their customers. Last but not least, we don't want to forget our wonderful pets, which sometime come before our husbands and we have designed a special spot in our boutique just for them.

As for Daphne, at this time she must remain anonymous due to her high profile celebrity. We hope one day she will reveal herself to the public but until such time, there will be contests and hints as to who this beauty might be.
